HOUSTON — Tennessee baseball will play in the 25th Annual Astros Foundation College Classic inside Minute Maid Park from Feb. 28 to March 2 early next season.
Texas A&M, Arizona, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, and Rice are the five other teams participating in the three-day tournament. The Owls and Bulldogs will kick off day one, followed by the reigning National Champion Vols, who will take on the Cowboys at 3:05 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. Tennessee is also expected to play Oklahoma State and Arizona.
Arizona and Texas A&M close out day one of the 3-day tournament at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Tennessee is not expected to have a College World Series rematch with the Aggies in any of the matchups.
