KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Vol legend will be in Knoxville on Saturday before the Vols play against Georgia in Neyland Stadium.
SEC Nation announced Friday that Peyton Manning would appear with Megan Moroney, a country singer who performed "Tennessee Orange," at 10 a.m. The show previews and highlights college football games in the Southeastern Conference. Its hosts will appear in Knoxville to discuss the upcoming game.
Coach Josh Heupel will also be live on SEC Nation on Saturday morning at 11:05 a.m. to discuss the game.
In it, No. 21 Tennessee seeks to upset top-ranked Georgia at home. It would be the first time since 2016 that the Vols managed to beat the Bulldogs.
Manning appeared at the Vols matchup against Alabama in 2022 and the team's matchup against Georgia in 2021.
In 2016, quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw a 43-yard Hail Mary pass to wide receiver Jauan Jennings as time expired for a 34-31 win. The victory was celebrated across Vol Nation and was the highlight of the season.
Kickoff in the game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Neyland Stadium. Dolly Parton is planning to attend. She announced she would sing a special rendition of Rocky Top during the matchup.
