KNOXVILLE, Tenn. โ Former Tennessee basketball guard Santiago Vescovi has signed with Spain-based BAXI Manresa.
BAXI Manresa is in Liga ACB, the top league in Spain's basketball system. The organization is also in the Basketball Champions League, FIBA Europe's premier club competition.
Vescovi averaged 10.3 points over five seasons with the Vols and had a record-breaking career at Tennessee since joining the team in the 2019-2020 season.
The Uruguay native remains the lone player in program history to record more than 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals. He also ranks second in made three-pointers with 325 at Tennessee. In his junior season, he became the second Vol in history to make more than 100 deep balls, recording 102.
Before signing with BAXI Manresa, Vescovi competed with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League and the California Classic.
