KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Vol fans take games seriously. Football is taken so seriously by some fans that they may take trips to a cemetery to pray at one particular grave for a win, ahead of a big game.
Some fans gathered at the gravesite of Robert Neyland, otherwise known as General Neyland, ahead of Tennessee's matchup against Alabama. He was UT's head football coach for several years, stretching from the late 1920s to the early 1950s. Neyland Stadium is named after him.
