KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Vol legend and former Tennessee football quarterback Peyton Manning attended Neyland Stadium on Saturday for Tennessee's homecoming matchup against Mississippi State.
Manning was on the field pregame talking with coaches and players. It was Manning's first game this season cheering on the Vols.
Peyton Manning, who played college football for the University of Tennessee and led the Vols to the 1997 SEC Championship Game in his senior season, watched the game in the stadium. Manning was also seen with head coach Josh Heupel chit-chatting before game time.
