KNOXVILLE, Tenn — South-Doyle High School football head coach Paul Shelton has stepped down from his position after two seasons at the helm.
Shelton shared the news on social media. He thanked the school, staff and players for the opportunity.
In his two seasons, Shelton led the team to 2-8 records and missed the playoffs both seasons. Before coming to South-Doyle, he was the tight ends coach/special teams coordinator at California-Davis.
