KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — One Knoxville Soccer Club has announced a new partnership with Boyd Sports that will change the location of the team's home games.
Next season the team will play in Knoxville's new Old City stadium, currently under construction at the Magnolia Avenue Warehouse District. This site will also host the Knoxville Smokies for their home games during baseball season.
The new stadium is scheduled to open in April 2025 and will be multi-use with a retractable pitcher's mound. Boyd Sports plans to host a variety of events for the public, including soccer games, concerts and more.
One Knox SC currently plays home games at the University of Tennesse's Regal Soccer Stadium.
“While we have loved our time at UT’s Regal Soccer Stadium and will be forever grateful to UT Athletics, the Old City stadium will offer several new amenities to our fans, including premium seating and the iconic Tennessee-shaped scoreboard,” Drew McKenna, managing partner of the One Knoxville SC, said. “This opportunity will be transformational for One Knox fans.”
The new multi-use stadium is scheduled to open with the Smokies' season opener on April 15, 2025. The One Knoxville 2025 schedule will be finalized and released later this year.
