PARIS, France — Simone Biles is ending the Paris Olympics as an 11-time Olympic medalist. After securing silver in the women's floor exercise final on Monday, Biles became the second most decorated women's gymnast in Olympic history.
The Texas native gymnast had a great start in the Summer Games after winning gold for Team USA in the women's team final. The team included Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezley Rivera and Jade Carey.
Biles later won another gold medal in the All-Around final. She suffered a calf injury while warming up for one of the four events that make up the All-Around competition. But that didn't stop her from performing a number of highly technical and challenging routines that left her in one of the top spots in the qualifier.
Her third gold medal was from the women's vault final on Saturday. Biles delivered an astounding Yurchenko double pike, also known as the Biles II, during the final event.
As for what's next for Biles, only time will tell. She took to social media to respond to people asking her and other athletes what's next for them after winning an Olympic medal.
