Here's everything you need to know about the 2024 Olympic Diving Trials in Knoxville
America's most talented divers will gather in Knoxville for a chance to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
USA Diving
The U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials are happening in Knoxville from June 17 through June 23.
America's most talented divers will participate in the make-or-break event at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the University of Tennessee campus.
For divers to individually qualify for Team USA, they must finish either first or second after cumulative scores from the semifinal and finals rounds in Knoxville are tallied, according to Team USA.
Order of Events
The first session kicks off at 12:15 p.m. on Monday, June 17. Sessions continue until Sunday, June 23 with only one training day on Wednesday, June 19.
Doors will open one hour before the sessions begin. You can view the whole schedule below.
Tickets and How To Watch
Individual session tickets are now available for pre-purchase. Tickets will also be available on site while supplies last. All tickets are non-refundable.
You can purchase tickets here. It's important to note that if you plan to attend the trials, the clear bag policy is in effect.
The diving trials can be watched on Channel 10 at these times:
- Monday, June 17 from 9:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 18 from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Thursday, June 20 from 9:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, June 22 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday, June 23 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Event Parking
Official event parking is at the N7 Garage on Andy Holt Avenue. The cost is $20 per vehicle per day.
Parking passes are valid for one full day and re-entry will be allowed throughout the day with a pass.
Parking passes can be bought upon entering the garage for the current day. Passes for future days can be purchased at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center inside the concourse.
Special Events
On June 19, the Olympic Rings will make their way to downtown Knoxville. The public can come take a picture with the 20-foot-long display in Market Square from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Saturday, June 15, USA Diving is holding a concert event at the Cotten Eyed Joe. James Holler, Makyah and Lamont Landers will be performing.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and ticket prices for the concert event start at $16.93. You can purchase tickets here.
Local Athletes
Maddie Reese, a University of Tennessee diver, will compete in the preliminary/quarterfinal senior women's platform event on Friday, June 21.
UT Assistant Diving Coach Colin Zeng is registered to participate as a coach at the trials. He qualified to dive in the event but has retired.
