Tennessee swimmer Gretchen Walsh wins two gold medals in Paris Olympics, setting world records

Walsh won her first gold medal in the mixed 4x100m medley relay final on Saturday in world record time.

PARIS, France β€” Gretchen Walsh closed out the Paris Olympics by securing her second gold medal in the women's 4x100m medley relay final. The Nashville native swimmer helped Team USA win two golds this weekend and break world records.

On Saturday, Team USA competed in the mixed 4x100m medley relay final. The team included Walsh, Ryan Murphy, Nic Fink and Torri Huske. During the finals, USA finished in a world record time of 3:47.43.

On Sunday, Walsh along with Regan Smith, Lilly King and Torri Huske swam for Team USA in the women's 4x100m medley relay final. 

Team USA finished in a world record time of 3:49.63.

This is Walsh's fourth medal in the Paris Olympics. She first secured silver in the women's 4x100m freestyle relay and 100m butterfly.
