No. 12 Tennessee men's basketball falls short against No. 17 Indiana in exhibition game

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — 12th-ranked Tennessee men’s basketball faltered down the stretch and came up short against No. 17 Indiana in a charity exhibition contest on Sunday afternoon inside the Food City Center.

Shooting struggles plagued the Vols all game long in the 66-62 defeat against the Hoosiers. Tennessee finished 18-of-59 from the floor and 8-for-35 from three-point range in the loss. Tennessee also made just one of its final eleven shot attempts to finish the game.

Zakai Zeigler led the way for Tennessee with 13 points and eight assists. Fellow guards Jordan Gainey and Chaz Lanier also finished in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively.

Tennessee will tip off the regular season on Monday, Nov. 4 hosting Gardner-Webb inside the Food City Center.
