LVFL Rickea Jackson named to AP WNBA All-Rookie Team

Jackson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was one of five players chosen to the All-Rookie Team.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Associated Press announced on Sunday that LVFL and LA Sparks forward Rickea Jackson was selected to the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie Team.

Jackson was a star forward from 2022 to 2024 at Tennessee. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft was one of five players selected to the squad. Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, Angel Reese (Chicago Sky), Leonie Fiebich (New York) and Kamilla Cardoso (Chicago) are the four other Rookie honorees.

Jackson is the eighth Lady Vol to be named to a WNBA All-Rookie Team. 

The 6-foot-2 forward was in the starting lineup for 35 of 40 games this season for the Sparks. She played 28.8 minutes per contest and averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Sparks.
