KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Athletics announced on Thursday that LVFL and LA Sparks forward Rickea Jackson was selected to the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie Team.
She joins Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, Angel Reese (Chicago Sky), Leonie Fiebich (New York) and Kamilla Cardoso (Chicago) on the squad. This comes after Jackson was named to the Associated Press WNBA All-Rookie Team in September.
Jackson was a star forward from 2022 to 2024 at Tennessee. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft gives Tennessee a member on the league's all-rookie squad for the second year in a row, according to Tennessee Athletics.
Jackson is the eighth Lady Vol to be named to a WNBA All-Rookie Team.
The 6-foot-2 forward was in the starting lineup for 35 of 40 games this season for the Sparks. She played 28.8 minutes per contest and averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Sparks.
