KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville Catholic 4-star class of 2026 wide receiver Tyreek King committed to Tennessee football Thursday morning.
King picked Tennessee over five other SEC schools, including Alabama, LSU, Missouri, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss. Louisville and Michigan were also in his top eight.
As a sophomore in 2023, King posted 1125 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns for the Irish.
The Knoxville native has been recruited heavily by the Vols, especially with Tennessee’s reputation of recruiting hometown players on its roster.
Head coach Josh Heupel made the trip to Knox Catholic earlier this month to watch King play against 5-star class of 2025 quarterback commit George MacIntyre.
