KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Football added three-star wide receiver and in-state commit Joakim Dodson to its 2024 recruiting class, Dodson announced on Saturday.
The Memphis-area native is ranked as the 80th-best wide receiver in his class and the 15th-ranked recruit in Tennessee, according to the 247Sports composite ranking.
Dodson chose the Vols out of 25 offers, including Missouri, Ole Miss and Georgia Tech.
According to Dodson's social media, he caught 52 passes for and amassed 1,012 total yards and 10 touchdowns during his junior season at Collierville High School in 2023.
Dodson is the first wide receiver and sixth overall addition to the Vols' 2024 recruiting class, which is headlined by fellow in-state commit and five-star quarterback George MacIntyre.
