BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — The Southeastern Conference and its 14 member schools will continue to support The Pat Summitt Foundation and its fight against Alzheimer's disease with the 12th annual "We Back Pat Week."

SEC schools will support the cause during home basketball games starting on Jan. 18. Tennessee will play in-state rival Vanderbilt in its We Back Pat game on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. inside the Food City Center.

During the women's games scheduled for "We Back Pat Week," various efforts will be made to increase awareness of The Pat Summitt Foundation, according to a release from Tennessee Athletics on Wednesday.

The Pat Summitt Foundation Fund was created by Pat Summitt on Nov. 27, 2011, after she was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 59.
