LVFL Rickea Jackson becomes fourth-ever LA Sparks player to score 400+ points in rookie season

LOS ANGELES — Former Lady Vol forward Rickea Jackson has already made history in her first season with the Los Angeles Sparks. 

Jackson is the fourth-ever Sparks player to score over 400 points in their rookie season. 

Another LVFL currently holds the Sparks' record for the most points scored in a rookie season: Candace Parker with 610. 

Jackson was drafted No. 4 overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. As a senior, Jackson averaged 20.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in her final collegiate season. In the last ten games of the season, after missing eight games due to injury, she averaged 22.6 points per game on 53% shooting.
