KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Fulton High School has hired alumni and former quarterback Justin Long as the new head coach of the football team, Fulton Athletic Director Rob Black announced on Thursday.
Long was previously the head coach at Grace Christian Academy for three seasons from 2021-23, where he led the team to an 8-22 record and a playoff appearance in 2022.
The former Fulton quarterback led the Falcons to their first-ever state championship in 2003. He was also formerly an assistant coach on the football team.
Long will replace former Fulton head coach Jeff McMillan, who resigned in November after two seasons at the helm of the program.
