MADISON, Ala — Christian Moore wasted no time making an impact in the pros and has been promoted to Double-A Rocket City after an impressive two games with Single-A Inland Empire this week.
In two games with the Los Angeles Angels' Single-A affiliated, Moore went 6-for-11 at the plate with a home run and six total RBIs. Moore made his professional debut on Wednesday night.
The eighth-overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft is being called up before seven of the top ten picks have even made their professional debuts.
The Rocket City Trash Pandas are in the middle of a series on the road against the Biloxi Shuckers that will conclude Sunday, Aug. 4. Moore is set to return to Tennessee when Rocket City visits Chattanooga for a six-game series against the Lookouts starting Tuesday, Aug. 13.
