KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Ali Howard, daughter of former United States men's national team goalkeeper Tim Howard, has committed to play soccer at Tennessee, she announced on Instagram.
Howard is a Class of 2025 commit and plays high school soccer in-state at Briarcrest Christian School near Memphis, where she is a defender.
"I can't wait to represent my home state in orange and white," Howard said in a post.
Her father, Tim Howard, last played professionally for Memphis 901 of the USL Championship in the 2020-21 season. He is the all-time leader for the United States men's national team with 121 appearances and started all of the team's games in the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and 2014.
