KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Lady Vols defeated the Troy Trojans inside Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on Sunday, 100-73. Rickea Jackson did not play in this game due to her ongoing lower leg injury.

Avery Strickland and Jasmine Powell were also not suited up for this matchup. Powell was wearing a brace on her lower right arm, while Strickland has been going through concussion protocol.

The Trojans were giving Tennessee a hard time early on offensively.

In the first quarter, the Lady Vols were 1-7 from the three-point line and only made 4 of their 12 layup attempts. They only shot 30 percent from the field at this point in the game.

The two teams were tied up at 21 going into the second quarter. Tennessee began to pick things up during the rest of the game.

Karoline Striplin led with 19 points and four other Lady Vols scored in double digits.

Tennessee picked up 21 offensive rebounds compared to the Trojans 13. Striplin had eight of them throughout and 14 total rebounds overall.

The last time the team scored at least 100 points in a regular season game was last November against Eastern Kentucky.

Next up, the Lady Vols will spend Thanksgiving in the Sunshine State. They face Indiana and Oklahoma in the Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off.

The first game will be on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. and the second on Nov. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
