Knoxville Quarterback Club sees Tennessee Football heading toward playoff games this season

Tennessee Football defeated Oklahoma in its SEC debut over the weekend, marking the first time it beat a top-15 opponent in a true road game since 2006.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Football is off to a good start this season, according to members of the Knoxville Quarterback Club.

Every Monday, the club recognizes high school athletes who outperformed and then catches up on Tennessee Football. The club also brings out notable figures from across college football and discusses famous people from the Vols.

The president of the club, Jeff Hagood, said he thinks Tennessee Football went off on the right foot this season and could be headed to the playoffs.

"I think we've got playoff fever. I think we're going to be in the playoffs, and I think we're 'sneaky good' right now, so I'm excited," he said.

The Vols returned home from Tulsa after beating Oklahoma, 25-15. The team will next kickoff against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Oct. 5.
