Country music superstar Kenny Chesney will help kick-off the Battle at Bristol weekend with a concert inside "the Last Great Colosseum."
Chesney will headline the three-act concert on the backstretch of Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday night, Sept. 9, 2016. The East Tennessee trio The Band Perry and Nashville's Old Dominion will also perform.
The following day the University of Tennessee football and Virginia Tech will face off in the Battle at Bristol. Organizers are expecting 150,000 fans to fill the speedway for what they're calling the largest college football game ever played.
Concert ticket pre-sale begins on Monday, June 6 with tickets for the general public going on sale on Wednesday, June 8. Tickets range from $39-$225.
