KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee softball head coach Karen Weekly was named SEC Coach of the Year for the second year in a row on Friday.
Weekly led the team to an SEC regular season title for the second straight season and compiled a 40-9 record in the regular season. She has won the award four times in total.
Karlyn Pickens won SEC Pitcher of the Year. The only other pitcher at UT to win that award is Monica Abbott. Pickens had a 9-3 record in league play with a 1.70 ERA.
Payton Gotshall, Rylie West, Taylor Pannell, McKenna Gibson and Pickens were named to the All-SEC first team.
Kiki Milloy, Zaida Puni and Sophia Nugent were named to the All-SEC second team.
