KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — It's time for high school football in East Tennessee!
So far, the six teams that have participated since Aug. 23 have raised more than $5,421 and collected more than 1,300 pounds of food.
Join WBIR 10News every week during the evening each season starting at 4 p.m. for 10Tailgate! We'll be visiting different schools each Friday to feature all the hype before the most anticipated football matchups of the week in East Tennessee on Channel 10 and WBIR's steaming service, WBIR 10+.
On top of competing on the football field, schools featured on 10Tailgate will also be competing off the field to raise money for a good cause. Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee is holding a Tackling Hunger food drive between the two featured schools each week.
In Week 4, the Austin-East Roadrunners will compete against the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders. You can support your team by donating on their Second Harvest Tackling Hunger page in the links below starting on Monday, Sept. 9 through Saturday, Sept. 14:

Here's which schools we'll be visiting each week during 10Tailgate this season:
- Week 1: Fulton at Central on August 23
- Central and Fulton collectively raised $600 for Second Harvest Food Bank to help tackle hunger in East Tennessee!
- Week 2: Alcoa at Bearden on August 30
- Alcoa and Bearden collectively raised more than $2,500 and an additional 536 pounds of food for Second Harvest!
- Week 3: Sevier County at Lenoir City on September 6
- Sevier County and Lenoir City collectively raised more than $2,200 for Second Harvest Food Bank!
- Week 4: Austin-East at Gatlinburg Pittman on September 13
- Week 5: Lakeway Christian at Christian Academy of Knoxville on September 20
- Week 6: Clinton at Oak Ridge on September 27
- Week 7: Kingston at Loudon on October 4
- Week 8: Gibbs at Carter on October 11
- Week 9: Farragut at Jefferson County on October 18
- Week 10: Alcoa at Maryville on October 25
- Week 11: West at Powell on November 1
