MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Bearden boys' soccer won the 4A state championship on Friday afternoon against Ravenwood in Murfreesboro.
The Bulldogs won 5-3 in PKs after the game against Ravenwood couldn't be decided after two overtimes.
Up 4-3 in the PKs, goalie Logan Nelson came up with a huge save. Then Nelson made the game-winner too to win it 5-3 in PKs.
It makes their sixth state title in program history and their first since 2019.
