Oak Ridge High School grad tees off in the Masters

Oak Ridge High School grad Scott Stallings will compete in the Masters Thursday.

(WBIR) A familiar face is playing in the Masters, which starts Thursday. Oak Ridge High School grad Scott Stallings is in group 6.

He teed off early at 8:40 a.m. Three other golfers with Tennessee ties are also competing this week in Augusta National Golf Club. Amateur golfer Garrick Porteous, a 2012 University of Tennessee grad, also hit the greenway along with Lucas Glover, teeing off at 11:36 a.m. Thursday.

Current UT golfer Ollie Gross will also be competing as an amateur. He teed off at 12:31 p.m. 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman will be in his group.

Tiger Woods won't be among the golfers at the Masters this year.
