Tennessee offensive lineman Gerald Mincey enters transfer portal

KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Tennessee offensive lineman Gerald Mincey entered the transfer portal on Thursday.

Mincey played in all of the team's 12ergular-season games at left tackle and right tackle. He started six of those games all at right tackle. He started at right tackle for the Vols in the Citrus Bowl.

The lineman played his redshirt sophomore and redshirt junior season at Tennessee before transferring. In his career at UT, he played in 21 total games.

On Dec. 11, Mincey posted on the social media platform X that he was going to play at UT next season.

"Shout out to @thevolclub for all the opportunities this year," he wrote. "Looking forward to another great year and glad to be signed for the 2024 season. Join the Volunteer club today through the link below!"

Tennessee will not have right tackle Jeremiah Crawford next season. Right tackle Dayne Davis has not made an official announcement on returning, but does maintain eligibility and did not walk on Senior Day.
