KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee sophomore running back Cam Seldon plans to enter the transfer portal, Tennessee athletics confirmed with WBIR Saturday.

The sophomore running back appeared in six games with the Vols this season and ran for 118 yards and a touchdown.

Seldon played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2023 and assumed a second-string role in Tennessee’s Citrus Bowl matchup against Iowa to close the season.

He was poised to enter the 2024 season in that second-string role, but missed most of spring training camp after shoulder surgery.

Seldon was a highly-touted four-star recruit coming out of Virginia in the 2023 recruiting class and chose the Vols over the likes of Michigan and Penn State.
