TENNESSEE, USA — Tennessee Football moved up three spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, going from No. 10 to No. 7 on Sunday afternoon, following their at-home defeat of the University of Texas at El Paso.
Tennessee took on UTEP for their final home game of the year on Saturday. The Vols finished perfect in Neyland with a final game score of 56-0, rounding out an undefeated at-home game streak for the 2024-25 season. The University of Tennessee takes the spot previously held by Alabama in last week's AP Poll, where Tennessee was ranked No. 10.
Six teams now sit in front of UT in the rankings. Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, Penn State, Notre Dame and Georgia take the lead in that order, with Oregon maintaining the first-place spot and Alabama and Ole Miss moving out of the top 10 to take the No. 13 and No. 15 spots.
On Nov. 30, the Vols take on Vanderbilt a few hours away for their last game of the regular season. Kick-off is set for noon E.T. in Nashville.
