KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Third Saturday in October is approaching, and this time No. 8 Tennessee will be taking on No. 7 Alabama here in Knoxville.
Tennessee announced the kickoff time for the much-anticipated rivalry game. The Vols will face Alabama at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Oct. 19 in Neyland Stadium. You can watch the game on ABC.
Both the Vols and Alabama are coming off major upsets.
Alabama, formerly the top-ranked team in the country, fell to unranked Vanderbilt on Oct. 5, which marked the first time the Commodores had beaten the No. 1 team in the country.
Tennessee was formerly ranked No. 4 before falling to Arkansas on Saturday in a close matchup. The Vols struggled to find offensive success throughout, and Tennessee was shut out in the first half for the first time this season and in the Josh Heupel era.
