Nico Iamaleava then found Chaz Nimrod for a touchdown. Moore threw one more to freshman Mike Matthews for a 63-yard touchdown in the first half.
In the second half, Merklinger found Tulane transfer wide receiver Chris Brazell for a 71-yard touchdown.

Running back Dylan Sampson didn't rush the ball, but was on special teams for kick returns. Khalifa Keith had 9 carries for 30 yards to lead all running backs. Chris Brazzell had two catches for 78 yards, with the one catch being the 71 yarder.
Linebacker Edwin Spillman and defensive back Christian Harrisson both led the way with five tackles on defense. Linebacker Jeremiah Teelander had a sack. Teelqander, Harrison and defensive back Boo Carter, all had tackles for loss.
VFLs Josh Dobbs, Trey Smith and Jauan Jennings were in attendance. They were each honored on the field during the game for their accomplishments at UT and the NFL.
