KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee linebacker Keenan Pili will return for the 2024 season.
Pili was granted an NCAA extension of eligibility waiver on Friday to return for his seventh collegiate season.
Pili was only able to play the season opener against Virginia for UT before suffering a muscle tear. He recorded four tackles in that game against UVA.
Pili transferred from BYU before the 2023 season. The graduate transfer recorded four tackles in the season-opening win against Virginia.
He was named to the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List before the season began.
