COLUMBUS, Ohio — ESPN's College GameDay announced they are making a second stop in Columbus for the first round of the College Football Playoff.

Their first stop will be in Indiana on Dec. 20 as the Hoosiers take on Notre Dame.

College GameDay will then head to Ohio State's campus on Dec. 21 at 9 a.m., hours before Tennessee takes on the Buckeyes.

Kickoff for the College Football Playoff game is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Vols have been on the show twice this football season. The first time the show attended a Tennessee game this year was in Oklahoma on Sept. 21 where the team won 25-14. The next game was in Athens, Georgia on Nov. 16 when they lost to the Bulldogs Nov. 16.

The University of Tennessee last hosted the ESPN show was Oct. 15, 2022 when they beat Alabama 52-49. The Vols were not featured on the show during the 2023 season

According to the NCAA, Ohio State has the most appearances on the show with 59. The school also holds the record for most times hosting with 23.  Ohio State is also the only school to play in three College GameDays in a row in the same season.
