EA's College Football 25 flubs Tennessee QB's last name

Sounds like someone missed Nico's post last year showing people how to correctly pronounce his last name.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Football traditions at the University of Tennessee play a prominent role in a video game release fans have waited to see in action for more than a decade.

EA Sports College Football 25 features Neyland Stadium, players running through the "T" and even Smokey the mascot.

However, fans quickly noticed the in-game announcer pronounces Vols QB Nico Iamaleava's last name incorrectly.

Tennessee Football posted a video on "X" of Iamaleava explaining how to correctly pronounce his last name.

"The correct way to pronounce my last name is ee-ah-MAH-LAY-ah-va," the QB said.

Small "flub" or not—game reviewers for USA TODAY say anyone "waiting more than a decade for this game should rejoice...it delivers."

The standard edition of the game will cost you just under $70.
