KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee baseball made history by securing the national championship title in the College World Series in Omaha. It is the first national title in program history. The Vols are the first top overall seed to win it all since 1999.
To celebrate the momentous victory, Knox County Glenn Jacobs has declared June 25 as "University of Tennessee Baseball Day" in Knox County.
