KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — It will be a "Checker Game" when Tennessee men's basketball takes on Texas A&M this Saturday at 8 p.m. inside the Food City Center.

The game is sold out and fans can find the color designation for their seat at UTsports.com/checker. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

UT last checkered out the arena on Feb. 15 against Alabama last season.

Tennessee is fighting for first place in the SEC with a 10-3 record in the conference slate. The Aggies are 6-7 in SEC play and are trying to make the NCAA Tournament field.

The Vols were beaten quite badly on Feb. 10 at Texas A&M. The final score was 85-69 as UT struggled to make shots and saw the Aggies barrage them with three-pointers in the first half especially. Wade Taylor and Tyrece Radford combined for 52 points for the Aggies. Dalton Knecht had 22 points for the Vols.

The Vols have picked up three wins in a row against Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Missouri since.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
