KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee men's basketball team has surged into the top seven of both major polls.
The Vols (6-0) jumped four spots to No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and three places to No. 6 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
The team's sixty-third consecutive week in the AP Poll, Tennessee's ranking streak is the third-longest active in the nation.
The Vols won the Baha Mar Championship in Nassau, Bahamas after defeating Virginia 64-42 and No. 13/14 Baylor 77-62.
The Volunteers are among eight SEC teams ranked in the top 25 of both polls.
Tennessee faces UT Martin at Food City Center at 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
