OMAHA, Nebraska — Tennessee baseball has set another program record.
The Vols set a new record for wins in a season with 58 so far, topping the previous mark of 57 wins set back in 2022. The mark was set following a 7-2 win over Florida State in the College World Series, which advanced them to the CWS Finals for the first time since 1951.
The team is now 57-12 on the season and went 22-8 in SEC play. UT is 8-1 so far in the NCAA Tournament.
The Vols will play Texas A&M in the College World Series Finals starting Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
