OMAHA, Neb. — A young Vol fan in Omaha needs help finding a special hat that disappeared on Sunday.

University of Tennessee Athletics Director Danny White shared a post on Monday afternoon from the child's father, asking for Vol Nation to keep an eye out if they are in Omaha.

The father said they were in Omaha cheering on the Vols baseball team and they went to see the players after the big win on Sunday. Several of the child's favorite players signed his orange Power T hat.

However, the kid lost the hat after accidentally leaving it inside an Uber vehicle that took them back to their hotel. The father said his son was devastated.

"This trip means more to him and I than anything in the world and I just hate that he is devastated about losing his hat," his father said. "I know it's a long shot but it would mean so much to him if we can find or replace this hate for him. We bleed orange."

"We need to find this hat Vol Nation!" White said.

The father said they will be in the stadium to cheer on the Vols as they play for the national championship Monday night.

"Thank everyone for the support he’s smiling because people are trying to help," he said.
