Three F-15 fighter jets flew over UT's campus and Neyland Stadium to start the Vol Walk on Saturday.
One of the jets was piloted by Air Force Captain Leigh Smith, a three-time SEC javelin champion at Tennessee and a 2008 Olympian.
Former Vol football player Stan Jones is expected to pilot a Navy F/A-18 jet during a national anthem flyover before the game.
Brady Hoke made his first Vol Walk as interim coach before the Vols take on LSU at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano lingered near the end of the Vol Walk, hugging his family and stopping to take a picture with a boy in a wheelchair.
Guarantano hasn't played since the first half of the Southern Miss game after injuring his ankle. The redshirt freshman entered Neyland Stadium as a game-time decision for the LSU game. He's thrown for 575 yards and one touchdown in seven games.
