NEW YORK — Tennessee basketball star Dalton Knecht was selected 17th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night and he was decked out in a suit that paid homage to his time with the Vols.
Knecht wore a Gucci suit that has a list of his accolades on the left side of the inside of the jacket. On the right side was Tennessee's "Power T." He also wore a chain with his initials.
While he showed the inside of his suit on the ESPN broadcast he also gave a shoutout to the Tennessee baseball team for winning the national championship.
Dalton Knecht is the highest-drafted player out of UT since Marcus Haislip in 2002. He was taken 14th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks.
