KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee second baseman Christian Moore hit the second cycle in Men's College World Series history on Friday as the Vols played Florida State in Omaha, Nebraska.
Moore hit a triple in the first inning to start things off. He hit a double in the second inning. He hit a single in the fourth inning. Then he hit a home run, the thing he has done best all season, to finish off the cycle.
The last cycle in the Men's College World Series happened in 1956.
It was also the sixth cycle in program history and first ever in the postseason. He is the third Vol in the last three years to hit for the cycle, joining Zane Denton who did so in 2023 and Trey Lipscomb in 2022.
