Butch Jones' salary ranks 20th nationally

Tennessee's embattled head football coach makes $4.11 million dollars a year. Which coach makes the most? Alabama's Nick Saban, of course!

Butch Jones' salary of $4.11 million ranks 20th nationally, according to USA Today's annual college football salary database, released Wednesday.

That's down from 18th, where Jones' wages ranked last year.Within the SEC, Jones' salary ranks seventh.

Alabama's Nick Saban is the most handsomely compensated coach, pulling in $11.13 million. He's followed by Clemson's Dabo Swinney ($8.53M), Michigan's Jim Harbaugh ($7M), Ohio State's Urban Meyer ($6.43M) and Arizona's Rich Rodriguez ($6.03M).

Saban and Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin are the only SEC coaches in the top 10.
