KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee second baseman Christian Moore tied the program record for home runs in a single season on Tuesday.
He hit his 24th of the season against Belmont, to give the Vols a 9-0 lead.
That home run ties whim with Sonny Cortez for most in a single season, a record set back in 1998.
Moore also leads the all-time home run record at Tennessee with 51 career home runs.
