Chris Lofton honored as SEC Legend at Tennessee’s game vs. Mississippi State during SEC Tournament

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Men's Basketball honored VFL Chris Lofton at halftime Friday afternoon during the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament against Mississippi State.

Last January, Tennessee retired the legendary guard's jersey in a game against Kentucky.

Lofton accomplished many milestones during his time at Tennessee. His 431 career-made threes still top the SEC, and he owns records for most threes in a game, season and career. He was named SEC Player of the Year in his junior season, and he displayed toughness and persistence when he was an All-American in his senior season, even after being diagnosed with cancer after his junior year.
