MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — CAK freshman Allie Faulkner defeated St. George's Aleyla Wooten in straight sets on Friday to claim the II-A girls' singles tennis state title.
She captured her second-straight championship after she won the 2021 II-A crown as an eighth-grader. She won the 2022 title in identical sets and took down Wooten 6-2 in both.
Faulker's two championships are the only two in CAK program history, according to the TSSAA website.
