MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Bearden High School, Farragut Middle School and Farragut High School dance teams won multiple titles in the TSSAA State Dance Championship in Murfreesboro on Saturday.
Bearden High School's dance team won a double state title in medium varsity pom and medium varsity jazz.
Earlier this year, the team won the 2019 National Championship title in large varsity game day and medium varsity pom.
Head coach Hannah Keathley, assistant coach Kathryn Brasfield, choreographer Katie Fear Lane and all 19 dance members were able to bring home double state championship titles.
The team has 11 state titles and seven consecutive jazz titles.
Additionally, Farragut Middle School's dance team won two titles in the dance competition.
At the 2018 TMSAA State Dance Championship, the team won first place in the junior high jazz and junior high pom divisions.
Farragut High School's dance team also won double titles in Saturday's TSSAA dance competition.
At the 2018 TSSAA State Dance Championship, the team placed first in small varsity jazz and small varsity pom divisions.
