No. 1 seed Tennessee Baseball plays Northern Kentucky on Friday at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On Thursday, fans hit the Vol Shop and other local retailers to grab gear ahead of Friday's game. Tennessee Baseball will play Northern Kentucky on Friday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium at 7 p.m.

The No. 1 seed, Tennessee Vols, are hosting the NCAA Regionals in Rocky Top. Fans can get standing-room-only tickets 90 minutes before the game, but UT Sports says theres a limited amount. The first 300 UT students will get in free.

"I've been to the Tennessee-Ole Miss game, I've been to the Tennessee-LSU game," said Eleanor Dietrich, an 8-year-old fan. "It's really great to be a Tennessee Vol."

Some UT students also said they are excited to enjoy a baseball game. They said the atmosphere surrounding games is usually different compared to football games.

"It's a different vibe than football. But, everyone is just so happy to be there. But then, something exciting happens and you get some of that Neyland energy," said one student.

Resale tickets will run fans more than $100. For fans wanting to watch at home, they can catch the game on the SEC Network.
