KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Alcoa's four-star class of 2025 tight end Eli Owens has committed to Michigan, he announced on Thursday afternoon.
Owens is listed as the 11th-best recruit in Tennessee and the 19th tight end in the 2025 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
The Tornadoes star is listed at 6-foot-1.5 and 243 lbs. and has helped Alcoa continue its dominant run of state championships during his time there.
Michigan will try and capture a national title when the top-ranked Wolverines battle Washington in the CFP National Championship game on Monday, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Houston.
